Max passed away at Glengarry Hospital in Victoria, BC on November 26th 2022. He spent most of his 7 years at Glengarry stricken with dementia from Parkinson’s disease. His care at Glengarry was second to none.

Max was brought into this world by his parents John Alexander Perrin and Grace Inglis in Hamilton, Ontario. He lived in Stoney Creek with his parents until he decided to explore the frontier of British Columbia. He squeezed his 6 foot 3 frame into his little English sports car and drove to Vancouver where he worked until moving to Victoria.

I met Max when we both worked at BC Systems Corp. He was hard not to notice with his impeccable clothing and his tall stature. As our friendship grew, I got to know this caring and extremely bright man. He was a solid friend and helped me and others navigate life, relationships and deaths of friends and family.

Max had no siblings or children.
