Evgenia was born in Athens, Greece to Ioannis and Sophia Kantiani. She was married to Aris Agathoklis who passed away in 2003.

Evgenia liked people, had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed life. She was an eternal optimist. She had a nice life in Greece and moved to Victoria after her husband passed away to be closer to her family. She enjoyed seeing her grand daughters growing up, watching them getting married and playing with her two great grand daughters Ella and Enza. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

Evgenia is survived by her son Panajotis, Angelina, by her two grand daughters Genya, Smaragda, and their spouses and by her two great grand daughters Ella and Enza.
