Evelyn Doreen Bremner passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023 at Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care Unit. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her so much.
Evelyn is survived by her children; Rene and husband Neil, Candace and husband Al, Earl and wife Donelda, Pam and partner Bill , Penny and husband Ken (deceased), as well as 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Evelyn is predeceased by her son Guy.
Mom lived with Rene and Neil the past 3 years and enjoyed many special occasions with them, Victoria and partner Dave, Mitch and his wife Cecilia. So many moments and time that they will treasure. Momma loved her visits with Sue and also those with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
On April 26th of this year, Mom would have turned 92 years old. She was known as the “Bead Lady” who loved to make bracelets. She had a little garden full of ‘peas”; her favorite, and raided Rene and Neil’s rhubarb daily to make her famous rhubarb crisp. Mom also LOVED to go to the casino with her children.
Rest in peace Mom. You will always be in our hearts.

Mamma E was a very special gal
Loving and kind even at times of high frustration.I was honored to support Mama over the last 4 years as her exercise coach and friend. Seeing her twice weekly. I have such happy and fun memories of our walks,dancing,chair yoga and lots of silly, crazy games we would do spontaneously. Our favorite was when a young fella took her in his toy jeep around the block a few times and she had a hoot! I thank Renee and Neil for trusting in me to work with Mama E. it was both an honor and privilege. Thankyou! Love you and miss you Mama E….your beautiful spirit lives on and in our hearts forever!❤🥰❤🙏❤

Such a beautiful soul who loved all her children. She left us all with special memories to keep in our hearts and treasure. I will always remember our painting adventures and Scrabble games. Love you mom, rest in peace. 💗
